Let me introduce myself, I’m Tammy. Owner and baker for Barktown Biscuit Company. The whole reason behind this wonderful new adventure is because of my two Golden Retrievers Kiya & Brody. My goal was to use a few simple wholesome ingredients that didn’t include artificial flavors, dyes, preservatives or chemicals. Ingredients that were not unrecognizable and hard to pronounce like a lot of commercial items on the market. I wanted something better for them. I wanted to make better quality homemade treats , made with Human grade ingredients that were not only beneficial but also tasty too. So my journey began, researching ingredients one by one. I used a few simple ,quailty ingredients to make tail waggin , drool-icious treats for them. Then I began baking for family and friends and co-workers and the dogs loved them . So one recipe expanded into several (And more to come). I have combined my love for dogs and baking into a new challenging adventure.
